The salesmen in this company are the most dishonest and disgraceful person I have ever meet. Shame on you! I saw other negative reviews on Google about this car dealer, I feel so regret I bought a car from it. When I walked in the company and made a quick decision to buy a Ford Focus which was recommended by Peter. He said he has a similar age daughter as me, and I asked, which car do you recommend to your daughter if she needs a car? He said, just this Ford Focus. Then I paid that car by cash. And the boss of the company said we will look after you because you young lady walked in and bought a car by yourself. Then one month later, the car was broken with main transmission problem on the way home. The worst thing is my 2 years old daughter was in the car! Shame on you Peter, Shame on your innocent daughter! Then the Ford Focus stayed in Mechanic for over one month. They said they can't get a new transmission spare part so they give it a second hand one. When I picked it up after he said it was fixed. I found it can't be started. Peter gave it a jump start and asked me to drive it home. I doubted whether the battery has some problem, he said no problem at all. Then last Sunday, when I was in the supermarket car park and ready to go home, I found I can't start the car again! I promise I didn't let the lights on. I called Peter and he said "I can't do anything to help you, I am having lunch with my friends" And his boss is away too. Fine! you are having fun on weekend, I am stuck in nowhere with your rubbish car!!! Shame on you the Boss, is this the way how you look after me???? Then I called a jump start service and paid $120 by myself. The furious thing is this morning, when I was ready to send my daughter to preschool and then go to work, the damn car can't be started again!!!! Cathedral Car Company, if you are not a shame of New Zealand, please do two things: 1. Apologize to me and others who had bad experience from you. 2. Refunding me
For a customer service representative as a job title, Bailey Maguire has shown a terrible level of customer service. We recently ordered doors for our new home and many of the doors have shown up onsite the wrong size. They had sent their contractor onsite to measure up the doors and both my partner and I were onsite at the time, and we explained clearly what we required. It is very clear that the man did not listen, and he was obviously drunk that day because his measurements were very wrong, and we now cannot use the doors that they have provided us with. We attempted to get into contact with J & G Doors to let them know that there was an issue and give them an opportunity to resolve it for us and they insisted that WE would need to pay a contribution towards getting the matter resolved, since then our emails have been completely ignored and we are still left with the issue that we have or needing to order new doors from another company. This is disappointing service considering we are also a building company (building builders' own home) and while we have used J & G Doors many times in the past for previous clients, we certainly would never recommend them to anyone in the future and wouldn't hesitate to share our experience and the awful service we have received. Not only have they handled this matter terribly with us as the clients, but they have also let their supplier down too who recommends their business regularly. On the flip side, Independent Doors, Christchurch have been awesome to deal with since this matter came to light, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are looking at building or having any doors installed, we recommend that you steer clear of J & G Doors and go to Independent Doors instead. We didn't want to write this review. As business owners (me in Real Estate and my partner in building) we would always prefer that any unhappy customers come to us first to allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues, but they have shown no care or consideration for our position and for this reason we have left this review. J & G Doors, if you wish to resolve this matter - I will remove this review and move on. Until then, everyone should know how you treat your clients after you make a pretty big mistake.
