Steve Cunard is a shipwright – master boat-builder with over 30 years experience in the trade. His apprenticeship years were spent in Christchurch and Auckland and covered a range of boat building skills including fiberglass, traditional timber and later on Kevlar and carbon fibre construction. He went on to gain his advanced trade certificate.
